A lot of people ask if you can convert the blank guns to fire the live ammunition?
Blank guns are made from inferior metals and cannot handle the pressures from live ammo. The barrel is usually designed to be permanently blocked and not designed for projectiles.
Front firing blank guns vent flame and smoke from the end of the barrel that is not plugged and a red or orange plastic tip is screwed into the end of the barrel (required by law) as an added safety precaution.
