TopAirGun.com is a creation of New Dimension Design founded in 1989.
As Dirt E. Harry, President and CEO, I have an extensive background in the internet, photography, pre-press and graphics design. Combining these artistic attributes with my engineering ability and my passion for airguns, TopAirGun.com was born in 2006.
The concept of TopAirGun.com is to bring to you, the airgun aficionado, a site where only the top air guns, scopes and ammunition are accessible and easy to find. Much time has been spent in researching each gun resulting in a collection of fine airguns that the serious enthusiast will want to know about and own.
Yes my name is Dirt E. Harry… Some have asked if my parents did not like me to give me a name like “Dirt.” Actually they did like me- they were just down to earth people. That is my profile blended into the 686 Smith & Wesson that you see at the top of this page.
Before I was re-incarnated as Dirt E. Harry, I was a jouneyman body and fender man and I owned and operated a body and paint shop in Springfield, Oregon for 15 years. The shop specialized in hard hit automobiles and we only worked on 5 years and newer high end cars like Mercedes, Porsche and BMW and had 3 Celette benches to blueprint collision damaged automobiles back to factory specifications. No paint jobs, restorations or rust work!
After my time in the body shop industry, I was fortunate enough to leave Oregon in my rear view mirror and come back to California where I became a successful photographer, graphics designer and self-taught website designer resulting in TopAirGun.com as you see it today.
When I am not working on TopAirGun.com, filling orders, answering e-mails and testing a high-end air gun for a customer, I am indulging in my #1 passion- Dancing! Just as you are only as good as your last shot, you are only as good as your last dance…
Here I am performing a Pro-Am with Sue (my long-time instructor) at the 30th Annual Frezno Dance Classic May 25, 2014. Sue is the Pro and I am the amateur (obviously). Take note of my Michael Jackson slides and the Argentine Tango forward “ochos” (figure 8s) and foot flick I do with Sue. Also, because I have “2 left feet” I mark the toes and heels of my dance shoes with L & R so that I get the correct shoes on the correct feet.
I get out at least one night a week for dance lessons and at least one night on the weekend to a dance in the San Francisco Bay Area (where all of the high-end dancers go)!
